Merry Monday Challenge #2 and my Mystery Guest Designer!

Hello and welcome to Week 2 of my new Challenge called "Merry Monday", completing one Christmas each week until Christmas. I was tickled pink by all the stampers who played last week, thank you SO much! I am thrilled to be getting ahead with my Christmas cards!

This week I am excited to announce my Mystery Guest Artist Joanna Munster!  Joanna and I met online through blogging and I am delighted to be designing for her for her new Stamping Line "Inspired by Stamping".  Joanna is a wonderful source of inspiration, I asked her to share a little about herself.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Joanna Munster. I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be a guest designer by the super talented Lesley! I love Lesley’s idea of having all my Christmas cards done by next holiday season by playing in her challenge each week! That’s 50 amazing and individual Christmas cards for each of my loved ones! What an amazing idea! A little about me, I am the owner and creator of Inspired by Stamping Rubber Stamps! Designing my own stamp sets is an absolute dream come true! One which I have envisioned for a very long time! Last year, my husband and I with our 3 kids moved to the great land of Australia! And with that came a motivation to be able to produce stamps that are affordable and reasonably priced here and all over the world. I have been creating, stamping and crafting for over ten years. It is an absolute passion of mine!

Thank you Joanna, so excited to be designing with you this week!!!

Here is this week's sketch:

And here is Joanna's beautiful take on the sketch, click HERE to visit her blog:

And here is my take on my sketch:

Today's card was quick and easy to make! I used one of Joanna's stamp sets called "Christmas Cheer", you can visit her store by clicking HERE.  I stamped the stocking in Cherry Cobbler ink and the sentiment in Early Espresso. The paper is from Fancy Pants and is called "All my Heart". It is actually a Valentine paper! I thought the little flowers looked like poinsettias. The ribbon is from my SU! stash and the scallops are from a MFT Dienamic Die.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the sketch! Please feel free to use the sketch to make a non-Christmas card but to be considered for the Winner's badge or any prizes, you must use the sketch to create a Christmas card.

Smiles,
Lesley

  8. Last Saturday, I was scrambling to get a card made for this challenge and told myself I'd get it done early this week. HA! I did get a card completed and posted to my blog and linked here. I hope it's okay that I turned the sketch on it's side. Just worked better that way for my image. I'll be back tomorrow to comment on everyone's cards!!
