Happy News to Share {Magical Wonder}!

Well this has been such an exciting time for me as a designer during this last year and today I am thrilled to announce that I am the newest member of the Ribbon Carousel design team. I cannot tell you how surprised and delighted I was to receive the invite from Corinna. I think the challenges she hosts are a lot of fun and always so inviting!! Also, many of my good stamping pals are on the team, which makes it even more thrilling! Thank you so much, Corinna!

Today I want to share a card I made using some Stampin' Up goodies that have not seen ink in such a long time! I was inspired by the colour combo challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers to use Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand. I do not have any Sahara Sand, so I used some burlap ribbon and some kraft paper to "represent" my neutral. 

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge & Splitcoast Stampers Colour Challenge {Shelter}

Last night I had the chance to get inky with the current SCS Colour Challenge to use: Marina Mist, Midnight Muse and Baja Breeze. I added some Kraft Paper from Michael's for my umbrella. The raindrops are inked in each colour of blue and stamped. The umbrella is paper pieced.

I took a close up of the embossing folder, I just love this folder and use it often! I also love the way the sentiment stamped from the new Sunnier Days Set from Simon Says Stamp. I used the sketch from the Sweet Sunday Challenge blog.

The first day of my Spring Break! I have the whole week off from work and I am looking forward to getting inky today!! The sun is shining out there today, it is still a bit cold and slippery but so bright and happy! I love Spring and I have a Springy card to share with you today!

Playing Some Challenges {Holiday Glamour}

Good morning friends! Last night I got my craft on! I have been unable to craft for a week, due to a sore arm, last night I was feeling almost normal and went crazy, making three cards.
