The Alley Way Guest Designer for October {the final week}

Wow, October has flown by and this is my last week as a Guest Designer over at The Alley Way stamps! I would like to thank Chrissie and Alison for having me guest with them! I decided to ink up the Priceless Joy Stamp set again and I combined it with Tweet Spots. I hope you have enjoyed my cards and that you will visit the TAWS website to see the amazing designers she has!

I also played with the adorable set called FRAMED. This is my absolute favourite stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps. I love that it comes with a Polaroid stamp and the sentiments are fun!

TAWS October Guest Designer {Week 2} Monster Mash

Hey stamping friends! Today I am sharing two "kid" projects I made using The Alley Way Stamps! I am the October Guest Designer and this week I was lucky enough to be able to play with the fun set called "Monster Mash"! I love it! This will come in handy for classroom prizes. I need to get crafty and make some fun treats!

I made some little bookmarks for my prize box...my students LOVE fun things like this! I think these will fit their little readers perfectly! Halloween is also coming up...so this will be a great prize for their Halloween goody bags!

The Alley Way Stamps {October Guest Designer}

Today I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for The Alley Way Stamps! I love these stamps SO much and I was thrilled with Alison contacted me to be a Guest Designer! Thank you, Alison! I decided to make two baby cards because my sister is expecting her first child in February 2015. Yay! This will be the first grandbaby for my parents, so we are all very excited!

I used the adorable set called Priceless Joy! This is one of my favourite TAWS sets!

I kept my designs clean and fresh...using some spellbinders scallop circles (these are my favourite dies for layered baby cards!) and some polka dotted papers.

A little twine for some texture and a softy coloured image-I used my Copics.

I thought a little rose would be sweet. I am excited to find out what my sister is having!!

Seize the Sketch #17, Seize the Birthday & the BIC Challenge (Alley Way Stamps)

Welcome to another week at Seize the Sketch!! This week we have an amazing sketch from my long time bloggy pal, Jen Mitchell! I loved the simple design and got out a fun sentiment from Lil' Inkers and matched it with a sweet airplane from The Alley Way Stamps.

I am also playing along with the current Be Inspired Challenge!! They have changed up the rules there and now you have a whole month to play along! Woot!!! I also had to link up my birthday card at Seize the Birthday.

The Alley Ways Stamps {Get Well Flower}

What a great day! I managed to get in my daily walk and I even made some yummy soup for supper in our crockpot. Our house is tidy and now I am off to bed nice and early! Yep! I love it when that happens. It is the little things that makes life so sweet and special!

The TAWS-BIC Challenge was calling my name again this week (LOVE the colours!!!) I won the BIC Challenge a few weeks ago and I chose this pretty stamp set called Flower Doodles from The Alley Way Stamps!

I couldn't believe I had won as I hardly ever win these days! Let me tell you, I was jumping up and down! The stamp set arrived from Alison last week (thank you, Alison!) and tonight is the first time I have had the chance to ink it up! So I went to work; inked in memento ink and coloured with Copics. Simple design-short & sweet but I love that flower doodle! I sure hope you like my card too!

This week at Colour Me, we are using Gumball Green, Blushing Bride, Pumpkin Pie & Pool Party ...have fun! I am still their Guest Deisgner and I had fun using these bright colours. I got out some paper and went to town adding lots of layers. Sorry for the dark photo!

I used one of my favourite sets from The Alley Way Stamps. The cool thing is, the colours matched their current BIC Challenge! SO I just had to play along.

Seize the Birthday #18 {Oh Snap!)

Wow, the last two weeks FLEW by and we have a brand new sketch over at Seize the Birthday! Design Team Member, Jen Nelson has created the sketch and I absolutely loved it! There is so much you can do with it! This week we are sponsored by Neat and Tangled Stamps, they are offering a stamp set to the Winner!

I wanted to create a masculine card based on the inspiration photo over at The Alley Way Stamps and I need a belated birthday card for a male family member, then I remembered the fun challenge over at CASology, hence the mustache >>> it is FURRY. *wink*

I am playing along with a couple of challenges today:

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger & CAS(E) this Sketch {Miss You} with TAWS

A couple of week's ago, I ordered these die cut Polaroid frames from the Paper Issues online store. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them but when I saw the awesome sketch over at Case this Sketch and the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab, I immediately had a plan!!!

I was inspired by the Trigger Tuesday because of...
1. The bright colours-LOVE THEM!
2. The target (which is the theme of my card) being in a Polaroid frame, I am targeting in on the person I am missing.
3. And the arrow on my card, is going in the opposite direction of the plane...hence, the "miss you" theme, which was inspired by the jumbled up look to the dart board look.

{Supplies Used}
Inks: Black (Memento)
Papers: MME Boy Crazy, Baja Breeze (SU), Black, White (Flourishes)
Extras: Studio Calico Die Cut Frames, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, SU! Cupcake Punch (for the clouds)

I found the adorable sketch at Retro Sketches.  I am also linking with the Flutterby Wednesday team to use a butterfly on your card and a sentiment on the front!

Play Date Cafe, CAS(E) this Sketch & The Alley Way Be Inspired {We Click}

Happy Weekend! Friday night is my crafty night and I had the chance to play along with some of my favourite challenges! Yippee! I loved the clean and fun sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and I am a sucker for neutrals, so The Play Date Cafe Colours this week, caught my eye!

I also loved the Inspiration photo over at The Alley Way Stamps blog...and I was inspired to make this card for a happy couple...

During Spring Break I ordered some goodies from Alley Way Stamps and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to ink this adorable set called "FRAMED!" I used some smooch paint in silver to create the lens on my camera. I inked up those sweet hearts behind it with Crumb Cake ink on Kraft paper.

The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired, Paper Issues and 4 Crafty Chicks {It's a TWEET}

Oh my! It is much too late and I have been paper crafting since I got home from work. Needless to say, I am a little giddy.

I sat down to play along with the Alley Ways Stamps Be Inspired Challenge and as I was finishing off my TAWS inspired Easter Treats Gift Baggie, I realized I did not have an Easter sentiment from TAWS for my project! Hmm!

Then I looked at the set I was using called Priceless Joy and saw the single words..."it's", "a" and "tweet" and then I started to laugh my head off! Giggling like crazy...because I made my mom an Easter treat baggie that says "it's a tweet"!!!

Yep, still laughing as I write this! Will it be as funny tomorrow morning? Probably not, but right now, it is pretty hilarious!

This "Tweet" for my mom is filled with buttons right now, but tomorrow I am off to the store to get some chocolate eggs for this little baggie. I was inspired by the Polka Dots in the Inspiration photo...isn't it a great photo?!! I love it!! Hope you have as much fun creating as I did!! This is also for the the "Up in the Clouds" theme challenge over at Paper Issues. Love that wee birdie! I picked up these baggies from Scrapbookin' Adventures and saw them embossed by the shop owner Jennifer Edwardson-so I thought I would try embossing my bag too!
