Happy Halloween!  Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I'm giving out a TRICK today!!! I was racking my brain on a "trick" to share with you and I decided I would share some clean and simple "masculine" card ideas using the SugarPea Designs stamps!!!

I needed some Masculine cards for my stash! I have to admit...these took about 10 minutes to make! I was pretty happy about that!

I cut 4 pieces of gray cardstock measuring 4" x 5.25".

Then I chose some of the "secondary" stamps in some of the stamp sets. Then I created 4 simple cards using a simple "background" stamping technique with black ink. My sentiments were stamped on white paper and then featured on my card...popped them up with dimensionals of course! I am happy because it is my principal's birthday and the "You Rule" card will be perfect for him!!!

Are you ready to do more Trick or Treating!

Don’t forget to leave a comment at each designers blog for your chance to win one or our 4 TREATS. Winners will be announced in a special blog post, Monday, Nov 2nd.

The Challenge #48 {Theme Challenge-Weddings}

Hello and welcome to The Challenge! Each week we have a fun challenge for you to try! This week we have a Theme Challenge!!! We are looking for WEDDING CARDS! I know that Wedding cards seem out of season but there seem to be more and more "Fall or Winter" themed weddings happening these days! We hope you are inspired to join us!

I decided to use the sketch over at Viva la Verve. LOVE those sketches. I missed the ribbon element on my card but I hope they can see how I was inspired. I am not sure if I will link it up. What do you think? The flowers from Great Friend are stamped with Ranger Watercolour Black Ink and then "painted" with distress inks onto watercolour paper. I am also playing along with Art Impressions in their "water-based ink" challenge! My poor vellum butterfly is hard to see but it is there, under the sentiment.

Merry Monday {Noel} & Art Impressions

The time has come for another challenge at Merry Monday!!! I love this challenge of using Christmas lights and glitter! I found a stamp in my stash from my Design Team days for Art Impressions and it was SO much fun to colour!!!

I used watercolour paper (140lb) and my copic markers to colour this. I find that it is much easier to use my Copics on this paper! I kept the design simple and used some glitter washi tape at the bottom to tie it all in! Come and play along at Merry Monday!
