Freshly Made Sketches #18-A Sketch by Linda Callahan and the Colour Q

This week at Freshly Made Sketches, the fun loving Linda Callahan has a terrific sketch for us!  Last night I put the finishing touches on my card and then discovered I had NO batteries in my camera...ACK...they were done!  So I plugged in my charger and got up early this morning to take my pictures and get my card posted!

I was intrigued by the colours over at the Colour Q this week.  I don't think I have EVER used these colours together and I am not sure I did so very well but hey, I gave it a whirl!  This is the first time I have used Island Indigo! Thanks for the push Arielle!!

The Paper Players Challenge #78-{Get Well}

This week at the Paper Players, the wonderful LeAnne Pugliese has a colour challenge for us!  I love the fun and bright colours she chose, and decided to ink up a clear set from Inkadinkado!  I used my Copics and so had to use the closest colours I had in my stash.

I used the sketch from Try Stampin' on a Tuesday this week. I absolutely LOVED it!!! Instead of a bow, I decided to add a circle for the sentiment.  My scallop border was created using the medium scallop die from My Favorite Things.

We hope that you will join the Paper Players Challenge this week!  Please be sure to visit the other DT Members to see their wonderful creations!

Friday Mashup #41-{Thank You} and the Color Throwdown #174

Friday is here! Yahoooo! Another Friday Mashup ChallengeThank you to everyone who joined in with Holly's challenge last week.  This week I am the hostess and I am in desperate need of thank you cards! Being a Primary Teacher, thank you cards are always a "must" to have on hand!!!  So this week I am challenging you to make a project with a Thank You sentiment and some Designer or Patterned Paper!

I used the colours at the Colour Throwdown for this card!  My designer paper comes from Kaiser Kraft and I used my Marvy Punches for the circles. The background is embossed and the whole card is on a Naturals Ivory card base.

We hope that you will join the Friday Mashup Challenge this week!  Please be sure to visit the other DT Members to see their wonderful creations!
