Dynamic Duos #1 {Just for You}

The BIG DAY is here! May the 5th and the DYNAMIC DUOS challenge blog is launched!!! We are starting off our challenge with a wonderful combo chosen by FACEBOOK friend Sharla!  She suggested Aqua and Lime, so I chose Lucky Limeade and Pool Party to be our inaugural colours!!!  I decided to tone down the colours with some Crumb Cake/Kraft paper.  I wanted to show that you are welcome to combine the two colours with neutrals. Not much stamping on this card!

The Colour Q #110 and Card Patterns Sketch 140

Well Thursday is here and I have a card to share with you today! I really loved the colours at the Colour Q and I have wanted to play along with the Card Patterns Sketch for a while now, so I saw the chance and went for it!  I had to use non-SU colours to play along, but I tried to match them as best as I could. I also added black as a neutral, to highlight the warm, rich colours.

Once again I inked up the Agapanthus stamp from Stampendous. I coloured it with Copics. The script background comes from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Amuse.

Cardabilities #41 {Vintage Note}

I have been in a crafting mood lately, and I have been trying to find new challenge blogs to play!  Well, I found a new one...new to me that is!  What a great sketch this week.  The challenge is called Cardabilities and here is their sketch! 

Tonight I wanted to create something vintage and warm. I used some new Bo Bunny paper and I got out my Copics to colour the floral image from Stampendous. The butterflies are from my embosslit die called "Beautiful Wings" from Stampin' Up and I added some pearls to the butterflies.  I don't know why I used black but it seemed to bring out the richness of the paper. I hope you think so too!  I sponged all the edges with some Crumb Cake Ink.

Paper Players Challenge #59-Pretty in Pink

Just a quick post tonight as we have company here and I need to get to bed so I can play hostess tomorrow!  We had a great day of visiting already!!!  Anne Marie has challenged us to use three shades of pink!  She LOVES pink and it pretty cute about it! LOL!  So we all had fun putting together some pink pretties for her challenge!

Here is my card for her challenge!  I hope to be able to add more information about this card later.  Sorry I am unable to tonight!!!

Friday Mashup #19-Wings and Bling

Happy Friday to all my blogging friends! It is time for the brand new challenge at the Friday Mashup!  I am so excited to be posting tonight using my brand new computer!  It is amazing how quickly it works!  Wow!  My old computer was SO slow and it would take me hours to do anything.  I also could not see many blogs, for some reason my old computer would not let me!  SO now I am able to visit everyone and leave comments which I love to do!

So, here's the "Mash Up!" challenge:

1. Create a project with "Butterflies and Bling".

2. Create a project using "Marina Mist, Perfect Plum and your Choice of ONE other color and ONE Neutral".

3. Or "Mash it Up!" and create a project that using "Butterflies, Bling and the Color Combo"!

I dusted off my scallop border punch and used it to create three rows of scallops to my card!  The vanilla background is embossed with my dots embossing folder.  The little flower was created with the Boho Blossoms punch.  I used the new Beau Chateau Paper for the butterfly which I created using my new "Butterfly Die"!!!  Yippee!  The bling is on the butterfly and the small flower has a pink glimmer brad!
