Fresh Squeezed Stamps {Hey, Santa!}

Today I am sharing a funky and fresh Christmas card at Fresh Squeezed Stamps!!! I used the brand new set called Hello December

When I made this card I was thinking of the catchy Christmas tune called "Hey Santa" by the Wilsons. So dug into my stash and used some music note paper.

I love using non-traditional colours for my Christmas cards! What are your favourite Christmas card colours?

SRM Stickers Gift Set {Christmas Tags and Bags}

Good morning! Today I am sharing a Christmas set I made using Basic Grey Paper and SRM Goodies.

I wanted to create a fun purse for a friend...now I have it all ready to fill with a small gift at Christmas.

These little tubes are SO adorable and a fun way to leave a goody for someone at work. I think I will be popping some of these with some candies in them, into the mailboxes of my fellow teachers. Fast and fun to make!

I always need tags and so I got out some tags from Recollections, added some of the pretty Basic Grey Paper and some SRM Stickers. They were fast and easy to make! I took some more photos of my projects...to show some different angles.

Here are the supplies I used from SRM Stickers!

Purple Onion Designs {From Our Home to Yours}

Today I am playing along with a couple of challenges! At Paper Issues, we are sponsoring the current Curtain Call Challenge and the theme is "Welcome Home". So I went to work and played along with a stamp set from Purple Onion Designs. It is called Vintage Snowflake Set by Paislee Press Designs. I also thought this would work perfectly with the current "Falling for You" Challenge over at Paper Issues.

I immediately thought of Christmas and the holidays...so many people get to go home for the holidays but then again, so many people do not. I am lucky enough to live close to my immediate family and I can be on their doorstep in 90 minutes! My hubby's family is a 6 hour plane ride and then a 2 hour drive away...which means we certainly cherish the time we do get to spend together!

There are a lot of great challenges going on in blogland right now...I wanted to play along with a few!

Happy News to Share {Magical Wonder}!

 photo RCCrewwinter2013300.png

Well this has been such an exciting time for me as a designer during this last year and today I am thrilled to announce that I am the newest member of the Ribbon Carousel design team. I cannot tell you how surprised and delighted I was to receive the invite from Corinna. I think the challenges she hosts are a lot of fun and always so inviting!! Also, many of my good stamping pals are on the team, which makes it even more thrilling! Thank you so much, Corinna!

Stamping Supplies
Stamps: Delicate Doilies, Magical Season
Inks: Lucky Limeade (no Old Olive), Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Kraft, White, Cherry Cobbler, Season of Style Pad DSP
Extras: Large Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Burlap Ribbon

Today I want to share a card I made using some Stampin' Up goodies that have not seen ink in such a long time! I was inspired by the colour combo challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers to use Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand. I do not have any Sahara Sand, so I used some burlap ribbon and some kraft paper to "represent" my neutral.

MOJO Monday, Simon Says & There She Goes

Happy Thursday! Today I am sharing a card I made for the MOJO Sketch ChallengeThere She Goes Christmas card Challenge and Simon Says Stamp. I wanted to ink up this cute snowman from There She Goes.

I decided to use a monochromatic colour scheme of pink and burgundy. I tied the twine around the main panel, instead of the whole card. The snowflake was die cutting using a Li' Inker die.
