Designing for the Card Concept!

Today I am introducing myself over at the Card Concept as a designer! Strange to be doing so!

I have to admit; I did not know where to place myself in the list of styles. I know I like to create cards that are clean & layered but I wanted to have the challenge of creating Classy & Elegant! Here is a project I made earlier in the Fall.

The Classy/Elegant Style can be defined as:

  • polished
  • shiny finish
  • sparkling embellishments
  • rich colour scheme
  • sophisticated sentiments
  • regal
  • sweeping
  • dramatic
  • monochromatic
  • layered textures
  • awe
  • impress

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement with this new challenge!! I am excited to see what the team creates in their various styles! They are all fabulous designers and wonderful people.

  10. P.S. I just realized that my comment would sound odd to people who don't know me, so just delete it. I got a kick out of you being the originator and introducing yourself as a designer. This is how I started getting multiple personalities!! Hugs, Darnell

  12. Love both the card and the tags. Great color combination and I love the "shadow" tree on the card. Really adds dimension.
