Playing with Ink: Just for FUN!

My desire to make cards has been low this past month or so. I have been looking around at all the amazing cards being made out there and still, no MOJO! Ugh! Tonight I forced myself to sit down at my cluttered desk (could be the reason for my lack of inspiration) and create a card! I used the colours at the Paper Players and the awesome sketch at Stampin' 411.

Both challenges were fun to do! I decided to use my Two by Two stamp, it is a new one  and I was worrying about having to colour it but then decided I wouldn't colour it and instead, let the Not Quite Navy ink do all the work! What do you think? It is pretty simple but I think it works...

A clean and oh so simple card! Quick and easy, which was nice! I hope you get the chance to join the teams at the Paper Players and  Stampin' 411. If you have any questions about my card, please leave me a comment, I will be happy to answer them!

  2. I LOVE the clean, crisp look of the NQN outline stamping on the all white panel, Lesley. It's such a different look to your previous sample with this image, but they both look fabulous! :)

  10. This is adorable! It's wonderful without coloring, too. One more reason for me to buy this stamp!

  11. I really Iike this!! Sometimes no coloring is the best technique of all. I've just come across a couple of older Christmas stamps like that and I can't wait to try this.

  13. I love how simple this is! I'm always painstakingly colouring it in with watercolour, but I think I might try it this way too. Thanks for sharing and I do hope you find your MOJO soon! :)
