This is my card for the Colour Q and the Pals Paper Arts KISS Challenge (Keep it Simple Sweetie). I used my Big Shot and the Butterfly embosslits die found in the Occasions Mini Catalogue. The sentiment is from the SAB set called "Vintage Labels". The corners at the right side of the card are rounded. I scored every inch upwards...it is hard to see in the picture. I added ribbon and took it off..what way do you like better?

It is Friday! Hooray! I have been admiring some new sketch blogs and decided to play. I went to work creating three thank you cards with the same colours but different sketches. This was a personal challenge for me! I also wanted to use only two stamp sets: Of the Earth (a Hostess Level 1 Set) and Thank You Kindly (a SAB FREE set with a $65 purchase).
My second card is a sketch from the "Unscripted Sketches" Blog. A new challenge for me and I liked the simple sketch. I dry embossed the white background with my Perfect Details folder and the Big Shot. I used the Corner Rounder Punch to add some interest to the card. Wished I had tied Organza Ribbon around the middle panel!
This third card is a sketch from the OCC Sketch Blog. I decided to make a paper flower to go with this card. I love making those paper flowers.

This first card was made at the Masking Class and uses the "For All You Do" Stamp set. We masked the flowers and then stamped over them with the French Script Background Stamp. The colours are Sage Shadow, Ruby Red and Basic Black. I also used the Stamp-a-ma-jig...very first time I have really used it and I can see why it is so great. What a difference lining up the sentiments and the images. It was really simple.
Here is one of the cards we made at my Masking Class on Tuesday night. I used the Neighbourhood Stamp set that is FREE in the SAB Mini. I love this set!!! My colours are Orchid Opulence, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. Love that shiny satin ribbon! I am so happy that I ordered it in that colour. I paired the Neighbourhood set with the "Bella's Bloom" set which is so sweet and used the sentiment from it. The DSP is the Cottage Wall DSP.

Here are some of the bookmarks I made for my class. I teach grade 2/3 and tomorrow we are going to be having our Valentine's Party. I made one for each student with their name on it. I didn't show those ones due to privacy issues. Sure hope they like them!
I am teaching a Masking Technique Class on Tuesday night and here is one of the cards we will be making. 
I just received a new order and I had to play with this gorgeous ribbon! It is the Satin Ribbon from the Mini Catalogue in the colour Old Olive. It ties beautifully! I also used my new to me "Cottage Wall" DSP. Wow...why didn't I order that earlier!
This card was made for two challenges. I LOVE the colour combo at Colour Throwdown this week. We had to use Blush Blossom, Sage Shadow and Riding Hood Red. I had to sub in Ruby Red for Riding Hood Red. Forgot how much I love Ruby Red Ink! Sage is one of my favourite colours!! The other Challenge is the Stampin' 411 Sketch Challenge. I have missed their deadline twice in the past few weeks and so I just HAD to make a card tonight and link it up! I just love their great sketches!I used my Fifth Avenue Florals Stamp set with the En Francais background stamp for the centre of the card. The sentiment is from "For All You Do". I wanted to try to stretch myself, I don't know if I stretched in the right way but I had fun playing! I added some of the pretty Organza ribbon as an accent above the sentiment. 
The colours for the challenge are Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery and So Saffron. I love this colour combo, it is one of my favourites and I need to use it more! Once again I think I have missed the sketch challenge deadline for the challenge but I played along never the less!!!
I made this card to try a new technique that I will be teaching in one of my upcoming Technique Tuesday Classes. I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder and a sponge to create a pretty card front. I used both Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose Inks. The paper is from To The Nine's and the cardstock is Sage Shadow and Pretty in Pink.
I used the sentiment from the Thoughts and Prayers set. I am just LOVING this pretty stamp set!
The past couple of weeks have been hectic with work, life and everything in between! One of the gals in my club, emailed me wondering if I was alright!!! She hadn't seen any fresh eye candy on the blog for a while! It was so sweet of her to email and to check up on me!! Thanks Trudy!
We also made a cute little treat holder called the "Diaper Fold Pouch". We filled up the little baggies in the pouch with some mini eggs. Yum!
The inside of the card was stamped with the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the "Well Scripted" Set. I used the "For You" stamp from the Vintage Labels. I used the Scallop Trim Punch (FREE in the Sale-A-Bration Cattie) and some of that pretty "Sweet Pea" Designer Paper!
