Friday Mashup and Colour Q

Here I am on Spring Break and I have not been able to stamp at all!  Well today I hope to change that and I am starting with the fabulous Friday Mashup Sketch and the bright fun colours over at the Colour Q!

My card is clean and simple, I decided to use my Christmas paper for the Old Olive Dots...I love when paper is versatile.  I also made a puffy flower out of some Sunny Garden DSP and added a Corduroy button in Certainly Celery.  Unfortunately I don't own any Kiwi Kiss...I wish I did...it is a gorgeous colour!

It is our anniversary tomorrow...on St. Patty's day...4 years of wedded bliss.  I thought the colours at Colour Q would make a perfect Anniversary Card for St. Patty's Day.  I do have the most wonderful friend as my husband and he is cute too! LOL!  We have so much fun together and I am thankful everyday that we met!  Okay...enough mushy stuff...

Paper Playing Tips:

-when creating a puff flower, be sure to use designer paper...it is thinner than cardstock and will make your flower puffier!

- don't be afraid to use designer paper that is meant for occasions like Christmas...see if it can be used in another way!
