Inspired by All the Little Things

This week at Inspired by All the Little Things, I am the hostess and I am SO excited to share my Creative Guest with you! She is talented, fun and lovely! Be sure to visit the blog, to see who is designing with us this week as our Creative Guest!

I was inspired by the colours and created a CAS card for the challenge! I stamped the floral images three times onto the card front...each time I stamped slightly off the card front. I used my Copic markers to add some flicks to the floral centers. The foliage is stamped around the flowers. No masking...just careful placement.

I hope you will stop by to join us!

I decided to use some pink plaid paper and I love that sentiment! I think it is my favourite from the Hot Diggity Dog stamp set!

The Cat's Pajamas Blog Hop

I have enjoyed Guesting with Alma and her amazing team over at The Cat's Pajamas! A special thank you to Nancy for all of her help and guidance over this past week! Today we have a special release Blog Hop and I am thrilled to share a card I made using the new Sketchy Flowers set! I LOVE flower stamps and was just delighted to use it for my blog hop creation!

If you are here, you have probably just come from Brenda Nakandakari

That first large bloom is SO gorgeous and I knew I had o to use it. I inked it with some Ranger Black Ink and watercoloured it with my Distress Inks. I only stamped two blooms and then used a teal blue colour to accent the blooms...

I kept my design simple but added some embossing at the bottom of my card to add texture. I didn't want to weigh the card down, so I used some light twine to add an accent to the card...

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Be sure to hop along next to...

and don't forget to play along with the newest challenge starting today...

Guest Designing for The Cat's Pajamas!!!

Sneaky Peek Blog photo SneakyPeekBlog.gif
I am back with another card for the stamp & die release over at  The Cat's PajamasI am guesting with them for this release and I am SO excited to show you this gorgeous new Sketchy Flowers stamp set! I couldn't wait to watercolour the images!

I stamped the large flower in versamark/clear embossing powder and heat set it. Then I used my distress inks to colour the flowers. I let the ink flow from my water pen...and I am SO happy with the results.

I used another sentiment from the cute Friendship set! I love the versatility of that set!

Here are some details you need to know:

1. All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday,  April 26th.

Reverse Confetti {SFYTT-April 2016} With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hooray! I had the chance to get inky today and I was pretty excited to play along with the Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try!! I LOVE the versatility of this month's sketch and I finally got the chance to use my new dies from Reverse Confetti! Yay! I went with a clean and simple sympathy card...my inspiration came from the floral photo over at Inspired by All the Little Things.

35_Apr2016

I used the Edgers-Confetti Cuts to make the swooped edge...so easy and really cool! As soon as I saw those edgers in the last release, I knew I had to have them because I always struggled with those kind of edges on cards...do you know what I mean? I just do and it was pretty great to use my Big Shot to create the edge I wanted!

I also watercoloured the Rose from the Rose Garden Stamp set and die cut it with the matching dies. I couldn't find my stitched circle die for the life of me, so I went with an oval...and that allowed for the sentiment to fit better anyway! So I just went with the flow!
