Viva La Verve {November Sketch}-Let it Snow

Friday is here! Hooray! Today the new Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge starts and Julee has a wonderful new sketch, full of great layers! I LOVED it and just had to play along! I decided to ink up a fun Christmas set Julee released last year called Jolly Jingles! I love the snowman and decided to turn him into a snow "woman"; complete with pink top hat! 

My white panel with the snowgal looked a little bare, so I inked up the snowflakes in the set and stamped them in Coastal Cabana. The papers were actually chosen first and I was going to colour a Verve floral image for my card but when I saw the Christmas set. I knew it was time to get ahead on my Christmas cards!

Then I finished it off with a snowflake and some pink glitter twine. Easy peasy!

October 2017 Viva la Verve Sketch

Have you seen the great sketch at Viva la Verve? Oh it's a fun one...simple yet elegant! I decided to ink up my newest Verve set called the Autumn Leaves stamp set and the Falling Leaves die set. 

I stamped the leave in Burgundy, Yellow and Green and then stamped their veins in a dark gray overtop...I purposely did not line up the leaves with their veins as I wanted to give the card a more "freestyle" whimsical feel.

Viva LA Verve Sketch Challenge & Diva Inspirations Challenge {Verve Stamps}

Happy July! We are back after a relaxing trip to the coast! We took our camper and had a blast...walking along the beaches and reading books! Today I am happy to share my card for the newest Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge! I am the sketch hostess and I am SO excited to share my design! I hope it inspires you to play along with us!

  

I was inspired to play along with the current Diva Inspirations Challenge over at Verve! Why not combine the two challenges!?

Using the Love Everlasting stamp set from Verve, I stamped the floral heart in the three bold colours from the inspiration photo...in this case I used Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. I am a big fan of clean lines and layers, so I used some designer paper and clean white rectangles...so the colours would hopefully pop!

VLV & CTD {Christmas Greetings}

Hooray! Back into my craft room and I was so happy to play along with a couple of challenges today! First I saw the fun sketch at Viva la Verve and then I saw the colours at the Colour Throwdown! It was a match made in heaven! I decided to make a Christmas card for my stash!

I used the elegant Bright Spirits stamp set from Verve and some fun design paper I had in my stash! I kept my design fairly simple...

Viva la Verve (MY Sketch!!!) & Coffee Lovers Hop

I am delighted to be the sketch hostess for the 2nd sketch over at Viva la Verve in June! This is my first sketch as a new designer for Verve and I hope you are inspired to play along with us!

It's also the Coffee Lovers Summer Hop and so I made my card Summer Coffee Themed! I stamped the cups and coloured them with Copics.

Day Three of the Verve Stamp Release {Product Review} & the new Viva La Verve Sketch

Welcome back to Day 3 of Verve's May Spotlight Hops!  It's an exciting day as there's new Verve in the store this morning! 2 beautiful new sets, 3 die sets and a sequin mix just released and they're all available to order right now. To celebrate our new release, we're putting on another blog hop!
Today's featured focus is designer's choice, so you might just sneak a peek at a whole bunch of must-haves!

I just had to make a bright and colourful card using these new goodies! The flower in the set is so pretty and fun to colour. These flowers were completely coloured using my Copic makers. I used the flicking technique once again on the blooms.

I used the new stitched banner and an older honeycomb embossing folder! I die cut the little leaves from black card stock and then added some sequins with the twine. I think this is my favourite card from this week's release. I almost shared it on Day 1 but wanted to finish off with my favourite! I hope you like it too!

I also have a card made for today's Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge! I LOVED using the sketch created by Maureen!

I decided to use an older Christmas sentiment set and to create a Christmas card! I loved the large circle and the clean lines of the sketch!

The sentiment comes from the Verve set called Peace on Earth. One of my favourite Verve sets! I used my Spellbinders poinsettia die and some gold embossing for the sentiment. The side panels of the main card are embossed and then I used various dies to add dimension to my card. I hope you will play along with us! There are two prizes up for grabs this month!

Hello crafty friends! I am beyond excited to announce my amazing crafty news. 

My biggest dream has come true! I am joining the Verve Stamps Design Team as a Designer and as a Design Team Coordinator!

Anyone who knows me or has been following my blog knows that I ADORE Verve stamps! Why? Because the sentiments are lovely, the fonts are elegant and the flower images make my heart swoon!  

One of the first Verve sets that I ordered was the Great Friend stamp set! I was hooked after I stamped with this pretty set! And then I became totally in love with all of Julee's awesome images; especially the sentiments! 



Julee is one of the loveliest and most organized people I have ever "met"! 

Thank you so much, Julee for asking me to join the team! I am completely honoured!

So today is my first day as a Verve Diva and I HAD to use the Great Friend set married with the new sensational sentiment set called Simply Amazing for my Viva la Verve card! On my card today, I watercoloured those flowers and then used my Copic marker-to add some more detail to the flower centers.
