Only 2 days away until my next turn as a Design Team Member for the Stamp-A-Holics and the 10 Minute Challenge! I am so excited to share my creation!!! I also took pictures throughout creating it and I also took pictures of my timer!! Did I make my project in time? You will have to check back to see! I am going to be offering some Blog Candy with my post on Friday! This is the first time I have offered Blog Candy, so I hope you will stop byon Friday to check it out!
I have been eyeing up the CPS Sketch Challenge for a couple of days now and I finally had an idea pop into my head tonight. Here is the Sketch. I decided to use Stacey's awesome Colour Challenge as well! Stacey had said these colours could be masculine and I decided to go with that idea! My sister's fella loves Motorcycles and so I thought I would pre-make a Birthday Card for him! I turned the sketch...here is what I came up with!
My card measures 5x5". I used my Texturz plates to emboss the Kraft Paper. I am all out of Rose Red Cardstock and so I used some of the Sweet Pea DSP for the centre section. The Motorcycle is from the new Summer Mini and is inked up in Not Quite Navy. The sentiment is from the "All Holidays" set. I found some old eyelets and used my Crop-i-Dile to adhere them to the little panel above the Motocycle. I thought they looked kinda cool with this image. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteI personally love the strap with the eyelets- it is a perfect fit with this image. I will have to keep that in mind as I have a unity motorcylce- I could do the same with hit.
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card!! I love the dry embossed background, and the eyeleted strip! Thanks for joining us at the curtain call & CPS this week!
