Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #59 {Merry Christmas}

Welcome to my weekly Christmas card Challenge called "Merry Monday"! Each week, I post a sketch challenge to inspire you to create a Christmas card for your Christmas card stash! We are all working on getting a Christmas card done each week! A special thank you to my friend Amy T for joining us this month as our Featured Designer!!! It has been wonderful having you with us Amy!!!

For my card, I went with traditional colours and used my favourite poinsettia die from Spellbinders. I embossed the background and kept my card pretty simple.

The Play Date Cafe {Mother's Day Wishes} & Simon Says Stamps

I ventured out of the house today, to meet my hubby for lunch. He is working all weekend, poor guy. Anyway, my little hour outing left me pretty sapped of energy. This darn bug just keeps hanging on.

Being sick, I have missed the Play Date Cafe challenge and I REALLY loved the colours they have offered this week! SO pretty!!! I was immediately inspired to create a flower Mother's Day Card. I added some burlap to the bottom of my card for some added texture.

TSG Sketch #204, Simon Says & Colour Q {Howdy Y'All}

The Sketch over at There She Goes caught my attention right away! Loved the clean lines! I was inspired to colour this sweet cowgirl from the set called "Giddy Up". The colours over at the Colour Q were lots of fun too and I thought this lil' darlin' would look so cute with "carrot coloured" hair. I am also linking up to Simon Says Stamp-Anything Goes Challenge.

The designer paper is a brand new 6 x 6 pack from My Mind's Eye, that I picked up a couple of weeks ago but hadn't had the chance to cut into, because I have been so sick. It is wonderful to be able to breathe almost normally again. It was nice to have the energy to craft! I haven't made anything new in 10 days because of this flu!

Exciting News {I Design for Paper Issues}

Since last Wednesday, I have been down for the count. I have a viral chest infection which makes me dizzy and brings on all the wonderful flu symptoms too. It has not been nice.
