Monday morning is here again and with it, another Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge! Wow, the team has outdone themselves and I am amazed at the beautiful cards they created with this challenge! Thank you, ladies!!!
I am sad to say that this is our last challenge with the talented and lovable, Linda Callahan. Where oh where, did the month go! Thank you for being with us, Linda. You are a dear lady and I loved having you!!!
This week's challenge is a big challenge but lots of fun...
Create a card with an all white or ivory base.
You may use brown or kraft for the sentiment and for accents.
1. Each week there will be a brand new challenge posted on Monday at 5am (PST).
2. The challenge will be either a theme, an inspiration photo, a sketch or a colour combo.
3. Each participant is encouraged to comment on 3 cards in the Gallery.
4. Have fun!
5. Follow the weekly challenge closely.
For my card, I used the fun sketch at Simon Says Stamp once again, I loved it and it was on my mind! I kept my card fairly clean and simple. I embossed the background piece halfway and then stamped the sentiment in espresso ink onto the bottom half.
{Supplies Used}
Stamps: Stampin' Up
Inks: Early Espresso
Papers: Various shades of Ivory from my stash (yeah! Scraps!)
Extras: Vanilla Satin Ribbon, 5 petal punch, pearl,
square punch, script embossing folder
