Stamping 411-Leaves of a Tree

The summer has flown by and I am sad to say, I didn't get the opportunity to stamp that much!  But now that school is back in and I am working, I am finding more time to stamp which is wonderful!

Stamping 411 has a great sketch this week and I have missed playing their challenges!  So today I decided to play along!  I tried to make the circle work but just couldn't make it work for what I had in mind.  I noticed that some of their DT didn't use the circle either, so I decided to go for it!!!

I used an Emboss Resist technique to create my card and the new Leaves of a Tree stamp that is on the back page of the holiday mini catalogue.  Although this card did not come out as I had imagined, I am so happy I got the chance to play along with the gals at 411.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

  1. Lesley, this is so gorgeous and is screaming TIME FOR FALL. Maybe if you mail it to Texas it will cool off here. :) Now I want that tree stamp; I didn't really care for it before but it's so pretty on your card.
