Freshly Made Sketches #3

Wednesday is here and with it comes the new Sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and a new baby cousin...yes, my cousin Debra Croghan and her hubby Dean have just welcomed a baby boy today!  So exciting!  All I know is that he is 8lbs, 12oz....mom and baby are doing well but they are tired!!!  Watch for a baby card this week! LOL!

This week's sketch is one I made up for the team, I sure hope you like it!


I did make a card for it weeks ago...this is what I created with the "Growing Green" stamp set.  It is one of my favourite sets in the book!


Then at the last minute I was inspired to make a card that flipped the sketch and used the "Field Flowers" set...just for fun!  I am all out of pearls right now...ack!  I need to put in an order for some, I love them on my butterflies!

    Both are very pretty Lesley, but I actually like the first one better, not sure why, but I do.

    Wow ... I love both of these cards equally they are beautiful in every way ... from the colours to the stamped images to the clean styling ... Perfection!
    And, like you,I am a sucker for Growing Green and would probably have the same debate with myself over these 2 sets, but I don't yet own Field Flowers!!! ... soon ...

    Hooray for new babies and hooray for you making two cards! They are lovely - you are making me want Field Flowers for sure! And don't let Ann find out that you ran out of pearls - lol!

    Both of you cards are gorgeous! Congrats to you cousin on her new baby! I recently found out that my nephew & his wife are expecting their 1st child in March. Exciting time ahead!

    Oh a new baby cousin...how wonderful! Both cards are beautiful and I love how you featured one flipped! Goes to show how versatile this sketch is. Your choice of stamp sets on both is perfect and the color combinations are beautiful! Love seeing all that woodgrain, lol! So happy to be stamping with y'all this week! ((hugs))

    I see I'm going to have to step up game; here you go with your overachiever self again! I am going to make 3 cards for next week! Just kidding. :) Love them both, but man...that Field Flowers card is stunning. Love the colors and the butterfly! I do think it is a crime to run out of pearls. I hope Ann doesn't see that.

    Oh, wow, Lesley, both are stunners! I love both of them but wow, you are making me look at Field Flowers in a new way. This may be the sleeper set for me. And you used my favorite color combo on that card, by the way. :) hope all is well, my friend!
