Friday Mashup #22-Behind Door #

Another week has flown by! Whew...they seem to be getting FASTER!  I spent all day in my new classroom, setting up.  It is AMAZING!  There is SO much storage and the room was just gleaming when I walked in.  I am halfway set up and tomorrow I think I will have everything ready to go for Tuesday!! 

Thank you friends for all of your well wishes regarding my blogging photo fiasco.  Argh!  Someone did leave a comment that it may actually be Picasa that is acting up and if that is the case, my photos may return (sob) I would be SO thrilled.



Okay...enough blathering on, it is FRIDAY and time for the fabulous Friday Mashup.  This week Kim has a super, duper challenge combo for us....
  1. Create a card that uses a "Gatefold" .
  2. Create a card that uses "Numbers". (stamped, die cut, chip board etc)
  3. or "Mash it Up!" and create a "Gatefold Card using Numbers"!
So I have no numbers anywhere in my stamping stash, I decided to make the Gatefold Card.  I used the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.  You can find it by clicking HERE. 


So I used my Summer Solstice stamp set and my pillow box die to create this combo.  I hope you like it!  Oh and I also used the new "Hand-penned Holidays" from the new Holiday Mini that went live yesterday!  Yippee!!!

    This is so stunning and vibrant, Lesley, I love it. And that writing is so awesome....can't wait to use this set - can't believe I haven't yet.

    I am glad I amnot the only one without number stamps! Your crd and pillow box are GORGEOUS! So elegant! Now I need that Summer Solstice stamp set!

    This is so pretty. I love the color combo you used. Great idea to make a set. I think I need that sentiment set now. Yay to going back to school, sounds like you're almost ready to go and you have a nice classroom this year.
