Freshly Made Sketches #4



This week at Freshly Made Sketches, I decided to use my favourite Christmas stamp!  I pulled out "Beautiful Season" and the "Woodgrain" background stamp to make this card.  The bird is coloured with my Stampin' Write Markers in Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip.  I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch to create the sides of the card in Old Olive and the ribbon is Old Olive Taffeta ribbon.  The sentiment was embossed with white craft ink and punched out with the Wide Oval Punch.

    This is so pretty, Lesley! You are so making me NEED that stamp set. I don't think I have any kind of bird set at all! It looks super paired with the woodgrain background too. Beautiful job as always. Thanks for being our fearless leader! :)

    Lesley this is such a beautiful card. I LOVE the woodgrain background stamp and the image is colored to perfection! (I just ordered this set). LOVE LOVE LOVE your new site ... I want to play along, but I'm having a hard time getting 'anything' done for 'any' challenge lately! where does the time go? Hugs.

    I can't say enough about how fabulous this card is. The woodgrain background is perfect for your stamped image. And what a stamped image that is! Simply gorgeous!
