Some Exciting News!

When Susan McShirley of SRM Stickers put out a design team call, I knew I had to apply! Being on her team 2 years ago was an awesome experience and I really like Susan! She is a lovely lady and I was tickled pink when I received an email back from her, welcoming me to the team! Thank you so much, Susan! These are just some of the projects I created using SRM products. 

The Challenge {Summer Break & Nautical Winners}

Altenew & Verve Birthday {SSS/STB}

Hello! One more day of work and then I am on holiday for the summer. Being a teacher is wonderful for summer break but already my mind is whirling with ideas for next year! I have a HUGE TO DO list and I will be moving rooms at school too! SO exciting but lots of work ahead!!

I inked up another Altenew Stamp...just playing tonight and haphazardly stamped the flowers all over the card...I didn't line them up but I liked the messy look. I hope you do too!

Altenew {Mini Card Set}

Today I am sharing a set of cards I made for our school secretary. She is retiring this year and I wanted to make her some cards to take with her as a gift.

I used Altenew stamps and some sentiments from Wplus9. I also used some washi tape for the accent at the bottom of each card. I used my favourite technique of stamping with distress ink on watercolour paper and pulling the colour around with a water pen. I am playing along with the Anything Goes Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

The Challenge {Theme Challenge: Nautical}

PWelcome to The Challenge! I wanted to let you know that we need a few more days to choose our winners for our Tea Inspiration Challenge-so the winners will be posted on Wednesday! Stay tuned!

This is our final challenge for the month of June! It is a theme challenge and we are looking for "Nautical" projects. The design team and I will be taking July and August off from The Challenge and so this will be our final challenge until September! So come and play along!

I have finally had the chance to get inky and I couldn't wait to play along at Viva la Verve! The sketch is a fun one and I used some scraps to create little flag accents on my card. I kept my card super simple as it is all I can seem to manage these days! Only one week left of work and then my left will settle down again!

Paper Smooches {Floral Thanks}

Hello stampy friends...so sorry...I have been a poor card maker of late. Just no time to play these days. School is winding down which means busy days for me..."end of year" work keeps piling up and I have been working like a mad woman trying to keep up! I am looking forward to my summer break.

Tonight I managed to get into bed at 8:30 but then my brain would not shut off so I decided to make a card. Colouring seemed mindless and I feel much more relaxed now...it is not perfect but it was fun!
