PPC #64- Thinking of "Blue"


This week at Picture Perfect Creations we have a fun colour combo that had me stumped for a while!!! I was all over the Suede, Peach and Cherry colours but how would I fit in the Blue?  I decided to ink up my "French Foliage" stamp set and used the blue as an accent for the postage stamp image in the set!


I also used some Peach Parfait DSP from the Paisley Petals pack.  I love this pretty pattern and chose it first when I began my card.  The leaves are rock and rolled in Cherry, Peach and Soft Suede inks so they worked perfectly with this combo.

    Lesley I agree the blue was a hard one to fit in but I love what and how your inspiration came through with your card. I have to learn your rock in roll technique. It has great wow factor. Have an amazing day.

    Lesley, this is gorgeous! I just love how you used the colors with that stamp set. The tiny pop of blue looks fantastic, too. Very pretty, my friend! Hugs! :)

    I've been seeing that stamp set a lot lately, and I've been in heaven! I love how you rock-and-rolled the leaves and added that little touch of blue. Perfect!

    Beautiful card Lesley. What a beautiful way to showcase this fabulous set. I was so pleased it made it into the main catty this year! The paisley patterns DSP is perfect for the background and I love that you popped the circular element. I also love that you never over-embellish your cards and leave as clean and simple and stunning creations!
