Seize the Sketch #20 {Joyous Season}

Wow, two weeks have FLOWN by and we are sharing another sketch at Seize the Sketch! This time I am the sketcher and I hope you will enjoy my sketch. We have a few changes over at Seize the Sketch. We have some designers leaving and some new designers joining us. Come on over to the Seize the Sketch blog to see what is happening.

My sketch is fairly simple and I decided to keep it monochromatic to keep it on the cleaner side. I inked up an older MFT Christmas set and decided to get out a Lil' Inker snowflake die. My paper comes from the Upsy Daisy paper company but they are now closed. It was hard to cut into this pretty paper but I loved the soft blue colour with the navy & white combo.

I am trying to play with my photography skills and this card was taken in natural light. I like how it looks much more than when I use my light tent and lights. I want to add some subtle props in the background soon...I am working on this. I managed to get the background "unfocused" which is the look I was hoping to achieve!!

Come and play along with us at Seize the Sketch.
