The Mood Board Challenge at Winnie & Walter is so pretty and fun! I was immediately inspired to play with my distress inks and watercolour some embossed images from Verve. I am also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Anything Goes.
My second card also uses Verve stamps and it is for their first sketch of the month. I love clean lines and I decided to ink the flowers with a SU! marker and "huff" it. I like the effect and I hope you do too!
Beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards!! I like the colors on the Verve. The red and the kraft look fabulous together. On the first card, I like that you used a neutral background to make the watercolored flowers shine. Beautiful cards!!
ReplyDeleteCrafty AND cleaning!!! You rock and so do these cards!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are fantastic! And wow- that's impressive that you had that much creativity flowing AFTER you spent energy cleaning! Well done! The thing I like about these cards is that they're totally different and totally unique, yet they still have the same classy-whimsical vibe. The color palette on the yellow one is to die for and I adore how you skillfully combined all the patterns so well on the second one. You did a great job on these and I'm so glad you shared them with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards. Love your water coloring Lesley.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so AMAZING cards! Love, love, love. And I can't get a decent photo of a card on my phone to save my life. You rock!
