Flourishes "One Set, Two Looks", OCC-Monochromatic Mania, Clean & Simple FTL#61

Whew long title for these two cards! The first card was made using the Clean & Simple FTL#61. As soon as I saw the layout, I knew I wanted to use this Roses set from Flourishes! I challenged myself to cut pieces of the rose out from another stamped image of the rose and to pop it up on the rose stamped on the circle. It is difficult to see in the photo. The second card was inspired by OCC Challenge to use Monochromatic Colours. The colour I used was purple. I had orginally planned on doing the entire white card face in the French Script Stamp but I like the half and half card I created.
I thought Flourishes had a challenge on to make 2 different cards using the same set. I bought this set a while ago but had not had the chance or inspiration to ink it up! The Flourishes blog gave me that inspiration. I just LOVE this stamp set!

  1. These are both beautiful!! I just love the monochromatic look of the one and the designs on both!! Awesome job!! Such gorgeous roses!!

  2. A couple of winners! That was a great challenge at Flourishes this week. I love to see the variety in what you can do with a stamp set. Great job on the monochromatic challenge also! So glad you could play along with us at the OCC this week. Hope to see you back again next week!

  3. You's funny, but this is the set I thought of first when I set out to challenge myself for this. You did a beautiful job and created two very different looks. I love your soft colors. I'm really loving all things clean and simple. I'm glad I had a chance to see your cards! Thank you!

  4. Just lovely! What a wonderful set of beautiful work.

  5. Excellent job on the challenge. I love both of your looks!!! Thanks for playing along with us this week at Our Creative Corner.

Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate the time you took to leave me a little stamping love!!
