SugarPea Designs {Day 4}

Today we are introducing a pretty new "Mandala" image that can be embossed or coloured...or just stamped! I want to use it as a snowflake for Christmas cards! SO excited! Anyway, I decided to ink it in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured it in with my Copic markers. I can see myself using the "Sweet Sentiments-You" stamp set a lot! It stamps like a dream and has so many different sentiment combinations.

SugarPea Designs {Day 3}

It's Day 3 of the SugarPea Designs Fall Product Release and I LOVE this sweet new set called "Monster Mash"! I used the images to create an array of "monsters" across the bottom of my card. I also used the new "Spots & Stripes" bold paper!

I hope you have the chance to visit the other designers for SPD! I LOVE what they have created with these new Halloween goodies and I love that I can use these for more than just Halloween projects.

SugarPea Designs {Day 2}

Hello crafty friends! Today you are in for some "handmade" goodness! The sets are just lovely today and a little bit country! I wanted to make a couple of cards...the "knitting"card, is for my mother-in-law. The second "sewing" card is for my mom! I can see I will get a lot of use out of these sets! I used the Made with Love stamp set and the With Love Tag for my projects today!

I love dry embossing and did some on the kraft paper to add some dimension and depth! Do you see my little rose? Do you know what set it is from? It is a SugarPea stamp set and I LOVE it!

Do you recognize the paper? It's the same papers I used yesterday from the Subtles pack but this is what was left from my die cutting yesterday! I love using up all my scraps!

Sweet and simple cards with some embossing is always fun!

SugarPea Designs Release {Day 1}

Hello crafty friends! I am delighted to be back designing for SugarPea Designs. I took a wee break, so I could have a baby! But now I am so happy to be back designing cards for Wendy and with the wonderful SPD team! I love them all! Today I made two cards using the new Indian Summer Products and the Spots & Stripes Pastels Paper Pad.

For my first card, I coloured the sweet raccoon with my Copic Markers and then cut him out with the matching Indian Summer SugarCut! I then used some of the Spots & Stripes Pastels Paper Pad with a bit of washi tape from my stash! I also used the SugarCuts Zig Zag Circles and the SugarCuts Stitched Flags.

 

For my second card, I used all the same elements to create a completely different card! I love that sentiment.."What's Canoe with YOU!". SO cute!

Today is exciting as we are featuring some new paper pads!!! YUM! I am in love with the "Spots & Stripes" for this release, Simonne knocked it out of the park with her new paper designs! And there are some new "cuties" by Becky! LOVE these little raccoons and the new cover plate!

Baby versus Running a Challenge {Baby 10, Mommy 0}

The same could be said for running a card challenge...I get to the computer and cannot get anything done...

Hello crafty friends and participants of The Challenge! After much consideration, I have decided to stop The Challenge. I was really hoping to be able to run the challenge and to have a brand new baby but alas, I cannot seem to balance the two things together.

I will still be designing for SugarPea Designs and for Verve Stamps. And I am delighted about that because this momma needs some crafty time for her! But running a challenge is SO much work and I just cannot maintain it to the high standard I have striven so hard to achieve in the past!

Thank you for your understanding and for playing along with us! I have decided to not announce winners for the past two challenges. There was so much beauty in the gallery, it is always so hard to choose!

I'll be back soon with some personal crafty creations.

The Challenge #94 {Inspirations}

Hello and Welcome to The Challenge! Each week we have a fun challenge for you to try!!! We do a different style of challenge each week! We like to mix things up and keep them fresh! This week we have an Inspiration Challenge for you!

You can be inspired by the colours, the theme, the cupcakes, the arrows on the sign, camping (or in this case, glamping)...and so on...as long as you can explain how you were inspired.

My card is going to be late! I haven't been able to photograph it with looking after the baby! But I am hoping to get that done tomorrow. I was inspired by the colours!
