Scrapbook Essentials BC Sketch Challenge

Happy Valentine's Day! We have another challenge at Scrapbook Essentials BC this week!  It is another clean and simple sketch this week, I sure hope you like it!  Feel free to make the tab on the side a pull or a sentiment or anything that inspires you!

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Pink Cat Studio "Lily at the Beach"

Papers: Red and Turquoise, with White

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Inks, Copics

Extras:  Tiny Mosaic Embossing folder from Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Copics

I was happy to ink up my Pink Cat Studio stamps called "Lily at the Beach". Stacey at Scrapbook Essentials BC is able to order Pink Cat Stamps, please contact her by emailing her by clicking HERE. I coloured the sweet Lily with my copic markers and I used the Tiny Mosaic Embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The embossing folder mimics the turtle's shell!  I hope you have the chance to join us this week!

Merry Monday Challenge #7

Happy Monday!!  This week I have a simple sketch for Merry Monday. I hope you like it!  Feel free to flip the image or change the ovals to another shape.  As long as the sketch is still visible, the sky's the limit!  The aim of this challenge is to encourage you to get a jump start on your Christmas cards for next December!  I am challenging myself to get ahead, and I hope you will join me. 

This month's featured designer is Torico, and she has created an adorable Christmas card with the sketch, I love the neutral background! Guest Designer Melissa has also created a beautiful, vintage styled card with the sketch! I love the distressing!  Aren't both cards so pretty!!  Thank you ladies!

Merry Monday Challenge #6 Winner

Well what a weekend!  We went for a little getaway and managed to see a boat show! So many boats, so little time! We are in the market for a new boat, so we decided to make a weekend out of it.  No boat yet but we had a great time looking at them.

Isn't this a cute card!! I love that Sherry used Designer Paper as the main element on her card!  The colours are festive and bright on the buildings, celebrating the Season of Joy. The Santa and reindeer image at the top is too cute and the layers are all accented with white, which gives this card a lovely, clean look!! Congratulations Sherry. Paper Players Colour Challenge from Ann and the Hero Arts Theme Challenge {Friendship}

Sunday is here and I am so excited about this week's Paper Players Challenge! The awesomely talented Ann Schach, has come up with the best colour combo EVER! I love my Poppy Parade, especially paired with Pool Party and Suede! Yum!

I decided to ink up a brand new stamp that I have had on my desk for about 2 weeks.  It is from Hero Arts and of course, I had to have it because it was a floral image!  It is called "Delicate Blossoms" and it is a clear set. I love how well it stamped in Memento Ink and then I coloured it with my Copics.  The background paper is from an Authentique 6x6 pack called "Gathering".  

The sentiment is one for a friend, which is this month's challenge over at Hero Arts, to create a themed project for friendship. This is for a friend whom I rarely see, so I thought a missing you sentiment would be appropriate. It is also from Hero Arts.

CAS Kites for Three Challenges {Up in the Air Over You}

Just a quick post today!!  I wanted to try some of the fun challenges out there I always seem to miss!  We have a big weekend ahead so it was nice to create a CAS for fun! This card was very easy to make. I am trying hard to create CAS but it is a challenge for sure. I love the look of a white card base but I do not know what paper is the best for that CAS white base look. Any suggestions?

Freshly Made Sketches #21- {Seeing Double}

Another week has flown by and I cannot believe we are at Wednesday again! Today I am the hostess for the Freshly Made Sketch, I sure hope you like it!  My wonderful team at FMS sure used the sketch well, I love what they created!!!!

My card started with the designer paper which is from "My Mind's Eye" called Away We Go. This paper really appeals to me because of the colours and the designs.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set. I inked the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then coloured them with my Copics.
