This is our dog Rolley in the back seat of our truck on our trip...he is very relaxed and happy...this is how I want to feel! Tee-hee! |
I will still be offering the Merry Monday Challenge on my blog, that helps me get my Christmas cards done! The Paper Players, Freshly Made Sketches and Dynamic Duos Challenges will still be going weekly, just without me on the design team...for a while. I will reassess in December, how I feel.
Thank you to my amazing teams and all of their support and understanding. I am hoping to get back to crafting for me for a while...and will hopefully play along with my challenges for fun!!!

ReplyDeleteLesley, good for you to take care of yourself, get plenty of rest, and create when it's fun for you and not based on deadlines. Take care and best wishes for you during this time!!
ReplyDeleteI certainly understand needing a break Lesley, take care of yourself!! Big Hugs, friend!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a break once in awhile, yours is well deserved! I hope you enjoy every moment and find your mojo again.
ReplyDeleteLesley, we all go through times like this so don't feel alone. It's a good thing that you've figured this out while being on vacation and realize you are only human. I always wondered how you kept all those challenges and blogs going. I have a tough time with just one blog! Enjoy your time for you and your family and have fun creating as it should not become a chore! Life is too demanding at times and you were smart enough to realize you need to step back. Have a great time relaxing!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. Sometimes you just have to live without deadlines and create when your heart wants. With me,the deadlines would just get closer and closer and that just takes the joy out of it. Have a wonderful time off!
ReplyDeleteLove and Hugs
