Paper Smooches & Cas-ual Fridays {Celebrate}

Playing with the current "Inspiration Theme" over at Paper Smooches and the theme challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays. I liked the tags and decided to ink up the candle from the "Warm Hearts" set. I then, used my Copics to ink them up in the colours that stood out to me on the colourful tags below. I loved the contrast of the brown tag circles and thought a kraft base would make the colours pop. 

 

Such a simple card, but I am happy with how it turned out. It felt good to make this card a bit earlier in the week. I created my tag using a piece of white cardstock and cutting off the sides to create a tag look and then I punched a circle.

Seize the Birthday #18 {Oh Snap!)

Wow, the last two weeks FLEW by and we have a brand new sketch over at Seize the Birthday! Design Team Member, Jen Nelson has created the sketch and I absolutely loved it! Merry Monday #64 {From Our House to Yours}

Merry Monday is here and with it a brand new Christmas card sketch! A special thank you to Marisa Ritzen for being our Featured Designer for Merry Monday for the Merry Month of May! We loved having you join us Marisa, and share your gorgeous creations!! Didn't the month ZOOM by! 

This week, the sketch is very simple. I decided to use my stocking punch from Stampin' Up, a sentiment from AMUSE stamps and some Christmas paper from Jillibean Soup. Quick and easy! This card took less that 10 minutes to make which is the whole point!! Crank them out and get another Christmas card done for your stash!

Paper Issues {Using Dies with Washi Tape}

Hi crafty friends! I am up on the Paper Issues blog today and would love it if you could stop by!!! I am sharing a card I made using a mustache die!!! 

CASology {Royal}

I love Friday nights because it is my crafting night! Well, tonight I was inspired by the fun challenge over at CASology! They have a FUN cue word this week...here it is...ROYAL. Well that was just the incentive I needed to dust off my Cricut! 

I cut out the sentiment and the crown with an old, and retired CRICUT cartridge. Then I used some of my Stampin' Up Punches and some Washi tape to create a "medal" of sorts. I think that this card would be perfect for a friend at work. She always wears pink and she is a pal. I think it will make a nice "end of the year" surprise for her.

Surprise Happy Birthday Hop for Jessica {Smile it's your Birthday!}

Today is a special day! The lovely and talented Jessica Knutsen, of There She Goes Stamps, is having a birthday!! Happy birthday Jessica!

To help her celebrate, her amazing friends have put together a SURPRISE Birthday Hop and my friend Meredith aka Crafty Math Chick, has invited me to be a part of it! Thank you so much Meredith!!

I decided to ink up a set I just picked up from There She Goes called, "Oh Snap"! It is a delightful set and FUN to colour!! I paired it with some pretty papers from Simple Stories called "Vintage Bliss".  I used the current MOJO Monday Sketch and I am also playing along with Simon Says Stamp (take a picture).

MUSE, Artful Delight, CAS on a Sunday & City Crafter {Celebrate Your Day}

Thursday is here and I am excited to be playing along with the current MUSE Challenge. This week's inspiration card is gorgeous! I love the colouring! All week I have been looking at different stamps in my stash and this one from "There She Goes" Stamps jumped out at me! So I inked it up and got colouring! The sentiment comes from "Paper Sweeties".
