Pals Paper Arts and Clean & Simple

I wanted to make a card for the Pals Paper Arts challenge to use monochromatic purples and to use the Clean & Simple Sketch 101.  Ann Schach is a DT Member of the Pals Paper Arts and so I wanted to support her challenge blog.  She is joining us for August as one of our Guest Paper Players.

I used the "Presto Patterns Designer Paper" and inked up my "All a Flutter" butterfly stamp, both are from the summer mini.  The Designer Paper is carrying over to the big catalogue which is awesome.
I used a combination of Perfect Plum and Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink on a sponge to highlight the pretty pattern paper.  The butterfly fits perfectly on the "Wide Oval Punch" and I used the "Lots of Tags" die to nest it.  I used a simple sentiment from my "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set and punched it out with my "Word
Window" and the "Modern Label" Punch.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Lesley, I love this card. What a gorgeous take on the monochromatic challenge. You have enabled me... now I need to add the presto paper to my list of things to buy tomorrow.
We must have both been in a butterfly state of mind this week.... it must be the time of year. On our visit to the nursery the flowers were covered in them!
Congrats to all our winners challenge number 8. The submissions were all fabulous. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this week.
    Oh.... Welcome, Ann!

  2. That Presto Paper is gorgeous - what a beautiful effect! Such a pretty card - thanks for joining us at PPA - can't wait to see what Ann creates!

  3. Stunning, Lesley! I love the Presto paper! Such a classy design! And of course, I loved the butterfly! Thanks for playing @ PPA!

  4. Pretty! Great combination of challenges. That Presto Paper is wicked cool!
