We are Home!

Hi blogging friends, I am home from my journey to Alaska and the Yukon! We had a marvelous trip and an small incident that I will share with you soon! Thank you to everyone who joined the Merry Monday Challenge this past month! Wow, 95 entries! The design team and I will be choosing our favourites and posting them soon. I will also be choosing 4 separate winners, each of them will be a Guest Designer for one week coming up. I will explain more about that in the winner post this week!

I missed you all and feel so good to have taken such a huge break from blogging. I am ready to make some cards and get creative again!

Paper Players Challenge #103-Bright Summer Colours

Even though I am taking a blogging break, I wanted to let you know about this week's pretty Paper Players Colour Challenge! I sure wish I had the time to make a card for it but alas, I am on holidays and away from my card stock and computer for that matter!!! Sherry’s card caught  my eye this week with the fabulous October Afternoon designer paper. I love the vintage feel that the papers, tag and ribbon give this card and the button is a fitting embellishment.  Congratulations Sherry, for being my Top Pick this week!

There were so many gorgeous cards to choose from this week, but I kept coming back to Anne Marie's beautiful Christmas card.  I LOVE those glittery Christmas stockings with the cute little bell attached.  The DSPs she's chosen are just fabulous and make for one gorgeous Christmas card (that I may have to CASE!) I love the way Sarah used this beautiful paper and picked up the red from the berries with her matting. That button threaded with ribbon and the pretty script of the sentiment pull everything into a classy card! Congratulations Sarah, for being my Top Pick this week.

Isn't Mikki's card absolutely the prettiest Christmas card?! I love that the backdrop of the card is white embossed and that she used the designer paper with the ornaments on it. That pretty ornament with the sheer ribbon is lovely and the diamonds on her card add the perfect touch!
