Season's Greetings {CAS Christmas}

I love the sketches at CAS(E) that Sketch! This week's sketch is very cool and I decided to go a little "off the sketch" but I hope you can see how I was inspired. I made a CAS Christmas card and so I am linking up to Simon Says Stamp too. Yay!

 

I just purchased this new Hero Arts stamp set from Butterfly Reflections Ink called "Holiday Petals & Leaf Stamp".  Anytime I can find a new poinsettia set, I buy it! I have a thing for poinsettias!

Hi everyone, I’m so excited to be a Guest Designer this month with The Challenge and it’s fantastic to be a part of this amazing team. I’m from New Zealand and have two children Phoebe 10yrs and Max 8yrs. I’ve been blogging for just over 2 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. My card making style is more CAS (Clean and Simple) and I especially love stamping and die-cutting. I’m addicted to Peanut M&M’s, love horror movies and jumping on the trampoline with the kids. Thank you so much Kim for the invitation and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful entries in the Gallery each week!

For my card, I decided to make a Christmas card using a brand new stamp set I recently purchased from Stampin' Up called "Reason for the Season". I love the pretty poinsettia and couldn't wait to colour it! I used some Copic markers to colour the poinsettia and tried to keep my design clean.

Paper Smooches & Simon Says Stamp {From Our House to Yours}

Today I knew I wanted to play along with the Paper Smooches Sketch Challenge! Ever since I saw the sketch this week, my mind has been whirling with ideas! I decided to change the orientation of the sketch, to fit the little houses in the Bitty Bungalows stamp set.

I knew I wanted to create a whimsical feel to the card and decided to go with a winter theme. I coloured each house with Copic markers. I am also linking this to the Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes Challenge".

Hooray! World Card Making Day today! I have been stamping up a storm! I wanted to play along with the CASE this Sketch Challenge! Wow! LOVE the sketch! I also wanted to play along with Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes Challenge".

 

I just purchased this beautiful new poinsettia stamp set from Stampin' Up called "Reason for the Season". I also ordered their new poinsettia punch and I will admit, I am not in love with it. I find it difficult to make the poinsettia with it. I will keep trying.

I stamped the poinsettias in Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured with my Copic markers.

Viva la Verve & Simon Says Stamp {Thank You}

So happy to have the chance to craft tonight! I loved the sketch at Viva la Verve and went to work with some gold embossing and die cutting! I used the new Avery Elle Christmas Florals set in a non-holiday way. I love this sweet set and I can see myself using it a lot!!!

 

I also wanted to play along with Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes Challenge".

I gold heat embossed the sentiment from WPlus9. Kind of wishes I had used a different ribbon in the background, rather than the gold. But I was feeling "goldish" tonight! Ha!
