Viva la Verve {You Make a Difference}

Happy weekend! I will be spending most of this weekend doing laundry and catching up with life! My "to do" list is LONG but manageable! I got the chance to craft again and I just could not miss using Stacey's sketch over at Viva la Verve! I LOVE it! Now I need some Fall themed sets!

I got out one of my favourite Verve sets called Bloom & Grow. I used my favourite colour combo of Crisp Cantaloupe, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasbi.

Freshly Made Sketches #204 & Merry Monday {Peace on Earth}

I wanted to play along with Jennifer Timko's awesome sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches and combined it with the awesome, "Sentiment" Challenge over at Merry Monday! Decided to get a couple of old Stampin' Up Christmas sets and used my Copics to colour the bird. The paper is a pack of retired Stampin' Up designer paper pad...a mini pad from last year!

The Challenge #42 {A Colour Challenge}

Wow! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first week back! SO many gorgeous cards in the gallery! 

We have some exciting news to share! 

***Now the weekly challenge linky will be open until Midnight (PST) on Sundays so you have all day to play along! AND we will be announcing our weekly winners on Wednesdays!

This week we have a Colour Challenge for you! You are to use Red, Pink, and Light/Dark Aqua. No other colour is allowed except for the neutrals Gray, Black, Kraft, Espresso or White. Remember, ANY AND ALL PRODUCT is welcome!

I decided to go CAS for my design and used a favourite stamp set from Altenew called "Vintage Roses".  I paired it with the large "Hello" stamp from SRM Press.

Merry Monday #171 {Believe}

Well I am excited to announce that I have joined the Merry Monday team again after a long hiatus! I am excited to use all of my Christmas papers and stamps! I seem to have thousands of them! Haha! This week we are looking for the sentiment to by the main focus! I decided to use a brand new stamp for the sentiment from SRM press called Big Merry and the trees are from Stampin' Up. I was inspired by the tree image in the challenge graphic! Hope you will join us!

The Challenge #41 {Welcome Back!}

Hello and welcome back to The Challenge! We have enjoyed a restful summer break and we are back to inspire you with our weekly challenges!

This month we are thrilled to have Featured Designer Alanna Moses joining us! Kim Heggins is setting up our designers each month and she asked Alanna to share a bit about herself!

Alanna here and I've been stamping for the last 13 years or so and started by blog in 2008. I am most happy when I can make cards and then send them to friends and those who could use some happy mail. I'm a momma to 3 children who I adore and the youngest two keep me busy at nights with their activities. During the day, you'll find me at a local CPA firm working as an auditor. I'm thrilled that Kim asked me to guest design this month and would love for you to stop by my blog at www.damoses.blogspot.com

Sketch Dimensions:

Base: 4.25"x 5.5"

Small Rectangle on the end: 1.5" x 4.25"

Middle Rectangle: 3" x 4"

I hope you like the simple sketch I created for this challenge! For my card, I wanted to create an "end of summer" themed card and so I dug out my new sunflower stamp from Jane's Doodles. I coloured with copics and kept the design simple. I used a scrap piece of polka dot paper on my card and tied some twine around it! Simple and fun! I hope you enjoy playing with my sketch this week!
