Art Impressions {Lighted Snowman}

Friday! Hooray! Only 12 days until Christmas Eve! WOW! So excited! Today I am sharing a Christmas card using the Lighted Snowman Set #4349.  I love this snowman SO much!!! I have to admit, I dug deep into my paper stash and found some older papers to make a trio of matching cards! I pre-cut all the pieces and quickly put them together.

This snowman looks so happy! He is fun to colour too!!!

Happy Christmas!!!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop (with Blog Candy)

Hooray! I am so excited to be involved with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Amy Tsuruta, a super friend and stamper, has created this hop to celebrate everything "COFFEE"!!! So if you have a favourite coffee stamp set or a hot cocoa set or tea or anything that celebrates "warm beverages", make a card and link up by visiting Amy's blog...that is where all the fun begins!

Click HERE to link up and to see all of the cards that are being linked up!
Anyone can join the fun!

I used a new to me stamp set from Verve called One Cup. I paper pieced the mug and then fussy cut it and added a small sticker snowflake to the side of it. Then I stamped the sentiment on a piece of graph paper and added some twine to the bottom. I also embossed the side piece in a snowflake embossing folder from Darice and the striped designer paper from Stampin' Up. I used the sketch at MOJO Monday and the Diva Dare Challenge-My Favourite Things (Which is COFFEE and this adorable stamp set from Verve!)

Happy Holidays to my fellow stampers! Come and play along and link up a coffee themed card and you could win one of the awesome prizes from one of the amazing sponsors!!!

{Supplies Used}
Stamps: Verve -One Cup
Inks: Black
Papers: SU! DSP, Kraft, MME DSP
Extras: Snowflake Sticker, Twine, Darice Embossing Folder

I decided to make some tags to go with my card...I like to use tags on gifts that I wrap with tissue paper...and then I add the tag! They are simple to make but satisfying!!

I used the Holiday Treats set from SugarPea Designs! These tags were quick and easy to make!

~BLOG CANDY ALERT~
I would like to send these tags to someone!

If you would like to win these three tags, please follow these steps:

1. Leave a comment on this post telling me your favourite holiday beverage.
2. Become a Follower of my Blog.

I will also include some little crafting goodies for you when I send you the tags!!!

There are so many amazing Sponsors for this hop! So make a card and join the fun!

Merry Monday {Joy to the World}

Christmas is so close now. I spend the day wrapping gifts yesterday! We will be working on our tree all week too...a little at a time because my leg and back can only do so much in a day! Anyway, I am thrilled to be the Featured Designer for Merry Monday! I have missed designing for the challenge I created but I needed to step down because I just could not keep up with commenting and I think that is an important part of being on a challenge design team! But it is nice to be hanging out with them for a while.

{Supplies Used}
Stamps: Verve
Inks: Cajun Craze
Papers: Teresa Collins, White, Cajun Craze (Textured), Silver Doily, Simple Stories
Extras: Poinsettia Die (Spellbinders), Pearl, Silver Doily (SRM)

I used a silver doily and some gold designer paper in the background. My "fourth" colour is Cajun Craze...and some plaid paper! Once again I used a Verve Sentiment...I love the font and how it stamps! SO easy yet pretty! I am happy with how my card came out but you should visit the blog to see the rest of the team's creations! Wow! They amaze me!

Art Impressions Design Team Post

Happy Friday! Hooray! The weekend is near! Today I am sharing a card I made with a small little mouse stamp called Mouse (Sku#F3307) that I just HAD to have! I inked him up with my Copic Markers and then fussy cut him. Isn't he adorable?! I popped him up on a snowflake and added an old sentiment from my stamp collection. This is a retired sentiment...but I thought the sentiment Brrrright (Sku#G3054) would look good with this mouse too!

Did you see the fun challenge we have on? I am entering this mouse card into the challenge...he is cool but also all bundled up!

Come play along by clicking HERE...

Yesterday I shared a card I made for the Feeling Frosty Challenge! I used the Jolly Snowman Set (Sku#4315) and I was happy to ink him up! I wanted to keep my card Clean and Simple...and I used some Lawn Fawn paper for the sentiment...I thought it worked perfectly!

Thank you for stopping by!

Joy to the World {CASE this Sketch & Merry Monday}

Happy Thursday! The weekend is near and there is so much to be done with Christmas on its way! Today I am sharing my design team card for CAS(E) this Sketch! I love being on this team, it pushes me as a card designer! The sketch this week was a toughie for me...I was really struggling but then something happened!

I was making my Art Impressions card for today and I realized that the oval I had used for my main image was too big, so I placed another oval "inside" of the original oval I had cut and voila! I had my oval "outline". So I decided to use an oval outline instead of a rectangle outline! Yay!

I cut my background white and using the "stamping off" technique, I stamped 3 pine boughs in the top corner...I only inked once and then stamped off two more times, to give it more depth. Then I placed the oval on my card but cutting some foam dimensionals into small pieces. Then I stamped the image inside on the main card front. Then I die cut the bird and popped him up in the "tree".

This card took minutes to make...I think about 10 minutes in total!

I used the Verve Sentiment called Every Heart Plain Jane. I LOVE it! Anything with a music reference is wonderful!
