Flourishes "His & Hers" Release Challenge

I made the boy card for the Colour Create Challenge to use green and blue. Both cards are the Mojo Sketch for this week! This is now my 3rd card with this sketch!!! Gotta stop...my fav show 24 is on soon!!!

I made a girl version of the card, using new colours and a baby carriage created by punches. The boy card has a sailboat created by punches. I think I like the boldness of the boy card better.
These cards are made especially for the Flourishes "His & Hers" Challenge!! I thought that was such a great idea for a challenge!

MOJO Week 86- 2nd Card & Colour Create Challenge

I thought about this layout all day and came up with a new card tonight. My friend is having a baby and I wanted to make a card for her and her new little boy!

This card is also made for the Colour Create Challenge to use green and blue.

I do not own the Nursery Set from SU! But I LOVE it!! I wanted to make a little sailboat so I made the sailboat by using my 1 3/8" square punch, then I cut the square diagonally into 2 triangles. I cut one triangle smaller and then used half of a scallop punch circle to make the base of the boat. I am sure someone else has done this kind of sailboat before but I was excited to have come up with the idea tonight!!! LOL!
The DSP is Basic Grey. I was originally going to save it for Father's Day cards but loved the look of it with the baby theme.
The stars are created from a star punch I have and then I added some green buttons. The oval with the sentiment is from my Basic George cricut cartridge.

MOJO Sketch Week#86

I am running behind this morning...I need to leave in 10 minutes for work!! Can't be late. This was a great sketch challenge this week. I wanted to try to make a card for the challenge early on...I am always late!!

I challenged myself to make this card in 10 minutes...it took 25 minutes!! I am not overly thrilled with it and may have to do some tweaking when I get home!! I have another idea for this sketch already!!

Thanks for looking!!

Sketch Saturday Sketch #50 and Colour Create (Red, Chocolate and Cream)

I am late for the Colour Create challenge this week! I will add it to the list of cards over there but I think I may have missed the deadline!!!I paper pieced his scarf and hat. If I was to remake this card I would not use the red DSP paper. I think it is too much red. What do you think?

I also tried the Saturday Sketch this week.
It is now 1:31am and I must get some sleep!!! I am off to see my mommy tomorrow so no card making for me!!! It will be challenging for sure!! :)

Happy stamping...can't wait to get back tomorrow night to see what everyone else has created!!!

SFYTT-I(Heart)2 Stamp Sketch Challenge

Just got home from a BBQ...it was a gorgeous day here!! I signed into my blog and found out I won on the Stamps and Smiles Blog Hop last night!! Wow!! I am sure pleased...I love their new releases and I cannot wait to make some cute cupcake cards. I love to colour!!!

This is the set I won! I LOVE the saying!!! I think it is going to be so much fun to glitter and paper piece and colour!! Thanks Jennifer and Suzy at Stamps and Smiles!
I decided to try the sketch challenge over at I(Heart)2Stamp. I really struggled with this one!
Tonight it finally came to me and I am happy with the results. My colours were Kraft (non-SU!), Artichoke and Cream. I used Basic Grey Wassail paper and some SU! Chocolate Chip fuzzy felt ribbon from Christmas. Used my new Martha Stewart branch punch to add some dimension. The bird is also MS and I found it in the clearance bin at Michaels. I coloured it with my warm gray copic marker and added glitter to the chest of the bird. The card is really soft and earthy...I think!!

Happy Stamping!!

Stamps and Smiles #4

I did it!! Hooray!! This last sketch was stumping me! I decided to go with a Christmas Theme as I am always making Christmas Cards at the last possible minute. I send out about 80-100 cards and so getting a head start doesn't hurt! LOL! I also LOVE this Stampendous stamp...the little Angel and Snowman are fun to colour and stinkin' cute! I am all about cute images...

There is LOTS of Glitter on the Angel's wings...

Happy Stamping!!
