Viva la Verve & Inspired by {Special}

Sunday! Hooray! I usually spend my Sunday's crafting and today I have a card to share for the new Inspired by All the Little Things & the Viva la Verve sketch!

I watercoloured the flowers and kept my design fairly simple! I added some washi to the bottom of the front panel for a metallic punch of colour!

Inspired by All the Little Things, VLV & SSS {Amazing Birthday}

Today I am sharing a card I made for three different challenges! Viva la Verve, Simon Says Stamp & Inspired by All the Little Things. The inspiration photo from Inspired By gave me the colours I wanted to use...I mixed red, blue and dark blue with an all white background. Following the sketch, I added some ribbon in behind. I used my Zig Markers to watercolour the blooms.

Viva la Verve & Power Poppy

Today marks the final day of my Spring Break! Did I get loads accomplished? Nope! But I did rest and nurtured my soul! I feel SO good compared to the start of the break! That has to count for something!

Today I played along (finally) with the first Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge for March! I loved the layout and decided to use a new Power Poppy digital stamp I picked up! I am SUCH a floral lover. 

I coloured the image with my Copic markers and matched it with a sentiment from SugarPea Designs. everything is matted with black paper to make my coral blooms pop! 

VLV, Tag You're It & SSS {You Make Me Happy}

Spring Break has been wonderful but it has zoomed along...as it always does! Tonight I managed to get crafty. My inspiration came from the project over at Tag You're It. I absolutely loved the neutral colours with the pops of red! I was thinking about using butterflies but then I remembered the Rain or Shine Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.  I have a great rain stamp set from Verve and I remembered their Viva la Verve CAS sketch for this week! So I switched out the circle for a tag and I was on my way! 

I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the card to mimic the "wheat" on the inspiration tag and to also make the sketch requirements.

I hope you can see how I was inspired. I added the twine for some texture and also to match the twine in the Tag inspiration.

Vibrant Verve {Watercoloured Birthday Blooms}

Finally had the chance to play along with the Viva la Verve Sketch. I played with the first sketch for the month and I am still working on the second sketch! Almost done! 

Using my new Zig Watercolour Markers, I watercoloured some pretty blooms for my vibrant birthday card. I decided to outline everything with a black border to make it pop. 

Viva la Verve & Simon Says Stamp {You're on my Mind}

Hello crafty friends! The weekend is here and I am SO happy to get my craft on! Today I am sharing a card I made for a couple of challenges! I wanted to get out some watercolouring items and so I stamped the flowers in Ranger Watercolour Ink and "watercoloured" them with a water pen and distress inks.

The woodgrain background is from Stampin' Up and then I added some sequins. I absolutely loved the sketch and I HAD to play along. I have come to enjoy the Viva la Verve Sketches and I loved the Ombre Challenge at Simon Says Stamp. I coloured the flowers in the Ombre style...

Viva la Verve {Just a Note}

Well that weekend zoomed by! The fun ones always do! I really enjoyed myself and spent some time in my craft room. I tidied and purged. Sure helped me to get my creative MOJO back. It was a bit "tired" lately but I can see now that the cleaning of my room has really helped!!! 

I thought the Viva la Verve Sketch was simply awesome and super HARD! 

That is why I just HAD to tackle it! Ha! I inked up two of my favourite stamp sets Floral Notes (LOVE the sentiment font in this one) and Great Friend (best blooms ever). The circles are from SugarPea Designs called Zig Zag Stitched Circles. I LOVE them!

Viva la Verve {Let Every Heart} & Merry Monday

The weekend was a lovely chance to craft and I wanted to share a card I made for the current and final Viva la Verve for November 2015. I LOVE the stamp set from Verve called "Every Heart".  I love choral music and I love Christmas music. This stamp set was a must for me! I will hide this card away for a dear friend who also shares a love of Christmas and music. I also wanted to play along with the current Merry Monday Challenge again! I love the colours!

 

Watercoloured "Note"

Another quick card to share, this time using the fun Week 3 Sketch at Viva la Verve and the Challenge at Simon Says Stamp. I inked up my new Verve set called Floral Notes.

Played along with Week 2 at Viva la Verve Sketches and the Watercolour Challenge at the Monday Simon Says Stamp Challenge. I was so excited to ink up my new Verve set called Floral Notes! I also used a honeycomb Embossing Folder from SU! and a die cut tag from MFT Stamps. The doily comes from SRM.

Viva la Verve {Merry Christmas}

I made this card last weekend but have had no time to post it! I used a pretty stamp set from Verve called Bright Spirits! It is so pretty and one of my favourite sentiment sets! I used the Viva la Verve Sketch Week One for October.

I hope to craft tonight and cannot wait to play with the new Viva la Verve Sketch that is coming out today!

Viva la Verve & Simon Says Stamp {Thank You}

So happy to have the chance to craft tonight! I loved the sketch at Viva la Verve and went to work with some gold embossing and die cutting! I used the new Avery Elle Christmas Florals set in a non-holiday way. I love this sweet set and I can see myself using it a lot!!!

 

I also wanted to play along with Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes Challenge".

I gold heat embossed the sentiment from WPlus9. Kind of wishes I had used a different ribbon in the background, rather than the gold. But I was feeling "goldish" tonight! Ha!
